After trying out the free trial version of Adobe Photoshop I was lost as to where I should go next to get great image editing software. Trying a few other photoshop knock-offs I was left unimpressed and kind of frustrated. Although I was not willing to fork out any money for software I thought that someone had to have a relatively decent image editor for free.
Well I eventually found a few and have been especially pleased with one image editor in particular. Pixlr, which is equivalent to a watered down version of Photoshop is easy to use and very similar to running Adobe software.
Online Image Editor - Pixlr
If you are looking for an online image editor with good features for free, Pixlr is your option. Below are a few features worth exploring.
- Open Image from Url – Although not new this feature comes in quite handy when you don’t want to store all of your images on your hardrive.
- Tools - Different tools offered by the editor make adjusting your images easy and accurate. Most of the major tools offered by Photoshop are included in the toolbar.
- Save As – With options to save your work as jpeg, png, or bmp you have more options than with many of the other free image editors.
With great features and recognizable tools, you will find a great experience at Pixlr. If you have any comments about using this editor or would like to contribute more ideas, let me know below.
